Frequently Asked Questions
You got questions? We have answers….
What breeds do you sell?
Cavapoo’s and Goldendoodles
Do you require a deposit??
Yes, I do require a deposit. The deposit is $250 and it places you in line to pick a puppy. So, basically, when the puppies turn 5 weeks old, I will go to my list and the first deposit I got gets to pick first, then the second, and so on. Once it gets to you, if there is not one you want, you can either get your deposit refunded or rolled over to the next litter. But, the deposit is refundable or can be rolled over up until the time you pick which puppy you want (5 weeks of age).
Is the deposit refundable??
Yes, up until the time you pick which puppy you want to be yours.
Do you have a Spay/Neuter Contract?
Yes, it is required for the puppy to be spayed and Neutered per the contract.
Do you charge a breeder rights fee?
Yes, if you wish to breed a dog purchased through Luv A Cavapoo or Luv A Doodle you will be required to pay a breeding fee. Please contact me for more info.
Are your dogs health tested?
Yes, our dogs are health tested through Embark Vet.
Do you offer a health guarantee? How long?
I do offer health guarantee for up to a year.
Are puppies vet checked?
Yes, all the puppies are checked by the Veterinarian. They get their shots at around 5 or 6 weeks and are dewormed around 3 or 4 weeks and around 5 or 6 weeks. She also checks them out thoroughly.
Am I able to contact your vet for a reference?
Yes, my Veterinarian has said she would love to be a reference. I can get her information for you if you would like me to. Just let me know.
Do you own the stud?
Yes, I do own the stud.
Do you allow visitors to see where everyone lives?
Yes, I would recommend people coming here and seeing my puppies, dogs, and where they live. That is what I do when I look for a puppy and think that is what everyone should do if they can. I understand that not everyone can, but it is best. When puppies are here, I would have to set up a time because I can’t allow people to come when they are really young. It is usually around the time you pick your puppy. I also take pics and videos for anyone that can’t come to visit.
How long have you been breeding?
I have been breeding since August 2017. I did a lot of research before I began and also have several Mentors.

Can you tell me about your puppy rearing practices? How do you ensure socialization? Do you begin any training? What kind??
I use Puppy Culture. It tells me about how to do the whole puppy raising right. I do litter box training while they are young and can’t go outdoors yet. I also start training them to a clicker. If you would like to know more about Puppy Culture and all it teaches, you can check out their website by clicking on the puppy culture image. My nieces, family members, and friends come and visit and play with the puppies. This doesn’t happen until the socialization time that the book talks about. You can’t have people visit early in their life because of germs and all. I do start potty training and some obedience training. When they are young, I train them to the litter box and potty pads, when they are older, I take them outdoors to train them to go out there. I also start obedience training, but using treats and a clicker. I work on sit and if they get that good, we move to down.
