Hi! I’m Christy! Owner and operator of Luv A Cavapoo and Luv A Goldendoodle. I have had a love for dogs and breeding for as long as I can remember. I have loved owning and raising our miniature poodle, Bently. Poodles are super smart, loving, and easy to train. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Sophie, has also stolen my heart! …that face! those eyes! Both of these breeds are extremely loyal. Mix these two breeds and you have a beautiful, smart, loving, loyal dog! Because these are two different breeds being bred together, they are pulling from two very different gene pools. Hybrid dogs tend to be healthier and less likely to get genetic diseases. This is what we call hybrid vigor! My family and I work together as a team. These pups get tons of love from all ages! I am so blessed to be able to do what I love with the support of my family.
“I also breed Miniature Goldendoodles. You can find these adorable dogs under Luv A Goldendoodle & Minis. Piper, my female Miniature Goldendoodles, whom I breed with Bentley, my male Miniature Poodle. Those make really good dogs.” They have a great temperament, very smart, and also one of the best family members ever.
All of my dogs have been OFA and genetically tested and come with health guarantee. Please make sure you read all of the tabs to make sure you understand everything. Please let me know if you have any questions. Just fill out the information on the contact us area and I’ll be happy to help.
We feed all our doodles a high quality, nutrient dense food that is not bulked up with unhealthy fillers and by-products. PawTree food is made in the U.S.A. and is made with real meat or fish as the first ingredient, it is natural, wholesome, and holistic! In addition, it has no artificial colors, preservatives, poultry by-products, corn, wheat, or soy. Because PawTree is a quality food, dogs don’t eat as much AND we have less waste! A good quality food like PawTree ends up being more economical than cheaper foods because you feed less and give your dog better health, which translates to fewer vet bills. As pet owners ourselves, we feel happy and safe feeding PawTree and have become a representative so that we are able to provide to our doodlebug families the same food their puppy was weaned to. What is a CavaPoo?
A Cavapoo or Cavoodle is a mixture of a Miniature (or Toy) Poodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Because it is a cross between two pure bred dogs, it has a hybrid vigor which tends to make it a healthier dog. The percentage of hybrid dogs with genetic problems is much lower than purebred dogs because the gene pool is mixed.
The Poodle is a very smart and loving dog. Which makes them easy to train. The Poodle doesn’t shed and tends to be hypoallergenic for most people.
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a very loyal and loving dog. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel does shed, but when it is bred with a Poodle, the puppies tend to be low to no shedding and more allergy friendly.
There are several generations of Cavapoos. I currently breed 1st generation called F1’s and 2nd generations called F1b’s. So, an F1 is a mixture of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Miniature (or Toy) Poodle and an F1b is a mixture of an F1 Cavapoo and a Miniature (or Toy) Poodle. A lot of people ask if one or the other sheds more or less. That I can not answer. Since these have a percentage of the Cavalier in them, they possibly could shed, but the likelihood of it happening is very low due to the fact that most get their hair from the Poodle.
What is a Goldendoodle?
A Goldendoodle is a mixture of a (Standard or Miniature) Poodle and a Golden Retriever. The Golden Retriever is a very loyal and loving dog. They are also very good with children. A Golden Retriever is a bigger dog and so does best if it has room to run. The Golden Retriever does shed, but when it is bred with a Poodle, the puppies tend to be low to no shedding and more allergy friendly. I currently breed Miniature Goldendoodles that will weigh 25-30 lbs full grown. There are several generations of Goldendoodles. I currently breed 1st generation called F1’s and 2nd generations called F1b’s. So, an F1 is a mixture of a Golden Retriever and a (Miniature or Standard) Poodle and an F1b is a mixture of an F1 Goldendoodle (Miniature or Standard) and a (Miniature or Standard) Poodle. A lot of people ask if one or the other sheds more or less. That I can not answer. Since these have a percentage of the Golden Retriever in them, they possibly could shed, but the likelihood of it happening is very low due to the fact that most get their hair from the Poodle.
WHAT IS A DOODLE?
Because a Doodle is a cross between two pure bred dogs, it has a hybrid vigor which tends to make it a healthier dog. The percentage of hybrid dogs with genetic problems is much lower than purebred dogs because the gene pool is mixed. There are several generations to a Doodle dog. Below is an explanation.
* * What does the “F” mean? All that means is it came from two different purebred dogs.
* * What does the number mean? The “1” means first generation. The “2” means 2nd generation. “3” means 3rd generation. Etc.
* * What does the “B” mean? Some have that and some don’t. It indicates that it is a backcross. A backcross is a fancy term for breeding the current generation back to the purebred Poodle. A dog should never be bred back to the other purebred dog. Only bred back to the Poodle. For instance, you do not breed an F1 Cavapoo back to a Cavalier.
* * What is an F1? Purebred dog with a Poodle making 50% purebred dog and 50% Poodle
* * What is an F1b? F1 with a Poodle making 25% purebred dog and 75% Poodle
* * What is an F1bb? F1b with a Poodle making 12.5% purebred dog and 87.5 Poodle
* * What is an F2? F1 with an F1 making 50% purebred and 50% Poodle.
* * What is an F2b? F2 with a Poodle making 37.5% purebred dog and 62.5% Poodle
* * What is an F3? F2 with an F2 making 50% purebred dog and 50% Poodle.

What Our Puppies Family have to say about Luv A Doodlez
We got our Oshie from Christy almost a year ago and it was the best thing that we ever did. Christy is a caring and reputable breeder who keeps you in the the loop from the moment she is expecting puppies. Oshie is a sweet and smart dog and is excellent around children, people, and other dogs. We would do it all over again if we could!
Love our little Dusty! Great lady! Loving home. Not a “puppy mill” or careless breeder. They truly love their pups and make sure they goto good homes. Thank you again! I highly Recommend!
Christy is absolutely amazing! I have had dogs before but none as easy and mostly potty trained by the time I got them. Christy really knows how to start the upbringing process and training with her beautiful pups! My Daisy has a happy demeanor, very playful yet likes to relax with us. She came to us healthy and with a guarantee not that we really needed one because of how well she was taken care of! Highly highly recommend Christy and her beautiful pups!

We have the sweetest Cavapoo puppy from Christy. She’s a responsible, caring home breeder who health tests her dogs and made the whole process of adopting our Puppy, Cleo, a wonderful experience! I wouldn’t hesitate to adopt another from her again.
Our sweet Ollie has been with us for 3 and a half years. I have nothing but positive things to say about this breeder and her dogs. Christy was knowledgeable, flexible, responsive, and well-informed. These puppies are very healthy and well cared for. 3 and a half years out and Ollie is so healthy and beautiful. We are stopped all the time with questions about him. He’s smart, so friendly, and incredibly sweet. We have a toddler now and they are the best of friends. I can’t recommend Christy and these dogs enough!
